Getafe President Angel Torres has called a Press conference for Monday at which it is expected he will confirm Luis Garcia has been sacked.
El Geta were beaten 2-0 by La Liga’s bottom side Real Betis on Saturday, their 12th straight game without a win, a club record.
Getafe are now only a point above the bottom three, in 15th place, with three teams below level on 26 points.
The identity of Garcia’s successor is not yet known and while it hasn’t been confirmed Garcia has been sacked, Mundo Deportivo reports Reuters’ sources in Madrid as saying the decision has been made.
It is thought Garcia didn’t take Getafe training this morning.
