Everton are said to be preparing a summer move for Carles Gil, the Valencia midfielder on loan at Elche.
Super Deporte claims a number of teams have shown an interest in Gil but it is Everton who are most keen, with Roberto Martinez willing to pay €8m for the 21-year-old.
Gil has two years on his contract with Los Che and if he was to stay at Valencia would be included in the first team next season.
Valencia’s general manager Rufete is said to be very impressed with Gil’s performances at Elche, where he has been since 2012.
