Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata was impressed by the Spain Under-21s win over Germany on Tuesday.
Morata scored the opening goal of the 2-0 victory and thanked Coach Julen Lopetegui for his support.
“When I come here I am happy, I have a lot of confidence,” Morata told reporters.
“Lopetegui gives me that confidence and playing time and I know I am capable of doing things well.
“I felt good. In the last five minutes I got tired but everything went well.”
Isco scored the game’s other goal and Morata said La Rojita have a number of players they can call on.
“There are a lot of players who should be here but the ones who are of an incredible quality.
“When I come here I do things well and I continue to do so. Bit by bit I’ll get more minutes.”
