Spain play El Salvador in Washington

Spain’s last game before the World Cup will be against El Salvador, it has been confirmed this morning.

The Football Association have revealed that La Roja will play the Central American nation in Washington on June 7 before travelling to Brazil.

The match will be played at the FedEx Field, home of the Washington Redskins American football team, with kick off at 22.00 CET.

The players chosen by Vicente del Bosque will meet in Madrid on Monday May 26, 19 days before their first encounter against the Netherlands, at the Arena Fonte Nova in Salvador da Bahia.
 
On May 30, the team will play a friendly match against Bolivia at Sevilla’s Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium.
 
On May 31 and June 1, the players will rest and on June 2, after training in Madrid, the team will travel to Washington.

The squad will prepare the clash against El Salvador which will take place on June 7 at the Catholic University in Washington.
 
On June 8 the team will then travel to Curitiba.
