Barcelona defender Gerard Pique has warned against reading too much into the defeat to Real Sociedad on Saturday.
La Real won 3-1 at Anoeta and while Pique admits Barca need to examine where they went wrong, he insisted the result doesn’t mean they are out of the title race.
“It’s nothing to be worried about,” Pique told reporters.
“We’re one game away from the lead and it’s the same whether you lose one game or two.
“But we’ll analyse why things haven’t gone well for us. We have a week to rest and reflect.”
Pique added that La Real played a smart game and said the hosts made life difficult for La Blaugrana.
“Sometimes you go on the pitch and don’t feel comfortable,” Pique continued.
“Possession is our strength and they’ve taken that away from us.
“Their second goals was a really hard blow and we’ve paid for it.”
