Bernd Schuster claimed that his Malaga side ‘didn’t do enough’ to beat Real Sociedad on Monday evening.
Carlos Vela scored the only goal of the game as the Costa del Sol outfit went down 1-0 to the Erreala.
And the German Coach conceded that his men were not worth the win.
“We didn’t do enough to win tonight,” he told a Press conference.
“During the first half we just couldn’t overcome the rival’s relatively slow pace on the pitch, and despite creating chances in the second half to at least equalise, we still lost tonight.
“There’s not much more to say about this game.”
“We always react well when we’re behind on the score board, which is a good quality the team has always had, and will continue to do so.
“However mistakes are costing us dearly, particularly in the situation we’re in now.”
