Emery: We lacked patience

Unai Emery lamented Sevilla’s ‘lack of patience’ as they drew 0-0 with Valencia on Sunday evening.

A missed Ivan Rakitic penalty ensured both teams went away with a share of the points, but the Coach thought his men should have performed better after Ricardo Costa was given his marching orders for Los Che on 50 minutes.

“The two halves have to be differentiated,” he told a Press conference. “In the first half we pressed high, but didn’t dominate the right spaces.

“And after the sending off, there was no patience on our behalf. But I thought we did enough to win the match.

“We have to continue working hard, but I have the confidence that this team can play and can get results.”
