Vicente Del Bosque has criticised Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid for their on-field antics this week.
There were tussles between Diego Costa and Alvaro Arbeloa in Los Blancos’ 3-0 Copa del Rey win against their capital rivals on Wednesday.
And the Spanish national team boss has admitted that he ‘doesn’t like’ those on-field spats.
“There were a few episodes which I didn’t like, I don’t like to see things like that,” he told reporters.
“I know it’s [the nature of] Football, and that these things can, and do happen – I can understand that, but I don’t like it.
“Every player must concentrate on playing, giving their best and defend their team but some of the confrontations and conduct we saw was not acceptable.”
