It has been announced that the Spanish national team will take part in a World Cup warm up tournament in the United States.
The announcement was made on the Major League Soccer website and will form an integral part of La Roja’s preparations for the defence of their title.
Prior to heading to Brazil, Vicente del Bosque’s side will play matches against fellow World Cup nations Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Greece and Honduras between May 27 and June 10.
The side begin their World Cup Group B campaign with a game against the Netherlands on June 13 in Salvador.
