Bernd Schuster was critical of his Malaga team, claiming that they should have taken their chances against Barcelona.
The Costa del Sol outfit lost 3-0 at Camp Nou on Sunday, but the German Coach was insistent that it would have been a different game, had they been more clinical in front of goal.
“That’s football. We had two clear chances to get on the score board, when we were 0-0 and 1-0 down, but after that there’s not much to tell,” he told a Press conference.
“I haven’t got any problems with the classification as we’re well aware of our situation in the League table.
“This game didn’t count. We now need to focus on earning points at home against Sevilla FC and Rayo.”
Schuster also discusses Roque Santa Cruz’s injury: “It’s a typical injury for Roque. I don’t know yet whether he’ll be match-fit for next week, but he’s such an important member of the team.
“We miss what he brings to the game when he’s not on the pitch.”
