Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke believes the 1-0 Copa del Rey win over Athletic Bilbao is a good result.
Koke created the only goal of the first-leg, his cross converted by Diego Godin to put Atletico in front shortly before half-time.
Speaking to reporters after the match, Koke said that despite passing up chances to establish a bigger lead, Atleti should be very happy with the score line.
“I always want to help my teammates and Godin finished it off perfectly,” he began.
“We had chances to score more but we’re pleased to be taking a one-goal lead to San Mames.
“It was a very intense game between the two teams and there’s going to be a lot of intensity in the next game too.
“We’ve had some very important games against high quality opponents lately and this win is because we knew how difficult the game would be.”
