Garrido’s Betis future in doubt

Real Betis are considering sacking Juan Carlos Garrido and appointing their third Coach of the season.

Betis were heavily beaten at home by Real Madrid on Saturday, leading to discussions from the club’s hierarchy over the future of Garrido.

Garrido was only appointed in December after Pepe Mel left the club.

A number of names have been discussed to replace Garrido, AS reports, including the likes of Pepe Bordais, Antonio Calderon, Faruk Hadzibegic and Juanito.

Garrido has only managed to pick up one point from a possible 15 in his short time as Betis Coach, with Los Verdiblancos eight points adrift of safety.

AS adds that while Betis made the decision not to dispense with Garrido on Saturday, the situation could change as early as Sunday.
