Real Betis have sacked Coach Juan Carlos Garrido after Saturday’s heavy defeat by Real Madrid.
The 5-0 home reverse left Betis bottom of the table and Garrido, only hired in December after Pepe Mel departed, paid the price, AS has reported.
Sunday’s Press suggested the axe would fall and that the decision was discussed after full-time against Madrid.
No appointment has been announced and Garrido’s assistants, Sergio Fernandez, Jorge Ramos and Javier Simo, have also left.
