Jemez focused on next two games

Paco Jemez has insisted that he is focused on the next two League games, as Rayo Vallecano look to get out of the relegation places.

The Franjirrojos host Villarreal on Monday looking for the three points that could take them up to 16th in the table.

And the Coach has claimed that he is looking to get maximum points from games against the Yellow Submarine and Getafe.

“We have to put up a real challenge in the next two games,” he told a Press conference. “We have to get out of the relegation places.

“That would be the first step. We have to set shot-term targets – and these next two games are important for us.

“We know we’re going to have to work hard if we want to win against Villarreal because they have been one of the best teams in the League this season.

“The lads have been training well and I’m pleased with how they’ve done since coming back from the break.

“Monday is the beginning of our resurgence and the players are committed to that.”
