Lucas Alcaraz has conceded that it will be ‘special’ for him as he returns to Almeria on Saturday evening.
The Grana Coach was in charge at Juegos Mediterraneos in 1998 and between 2011 and 2012.
And the tactician has admitted it will be nice to go back, but is focusing entirely on a win.
“It’s special for me going to Almeria,” he told a Press conference. “I have good memories of my time there.
“I am confident we can be competitive and play a good game. I believe we can get a good result to start the year off on the right foot.
“The dressing room is good – the lads are excited about the New Year.”
