Espanyol President Joan Collet has confirmed that the club have received a bid for Thievy Bifouma, but that they are likely to turn it down.
The Frenchman has been seen as one player Los Pericos may opt to cash in on during this winter transfer window.
And, on from their admittance that offers will have to be considered, the club’s President has revealed one has already arrived for the 21-year-old.
“We have had an offer arrive for Thievy,” Collet has commented this week to reporters.
“What we have to talk about with the sporting director [Oscar Perarnau] is the sporting situation.
“Economically we do not believe that the offer is worth what the player is and it is likely that our response will be negative.”
