Koke has revealed that he is ‘doing everything’ to make the Spanish national team squad for next summer.
The young Atletico Madrid midfielder has been sensational this term, attracting attention from Bayern Munich and Manchester United.
But the 21-yer-old has claimed that he is focused on doing well for Diego Simeone’s men and making the World Cup.
“I am doing everything to get to Brazil,” he told the club’s official website.
“Who would not want to go to the World Cup? But rest assured, the season is long and I am focused on doing well for Atleti.
“This year’s been a great one for us. To win the Copa del Rey and beat Real Madrid – that was great.
“It was like a weight off our shoulders.”
