Javi Gracia has conceded that his Osasuna side were made to ‘suffer’ despite going through to the next round of the Copa del Rey.
The Rojillos were second best against Malaga on Tuesday evening, but having gained a 3-3 draw two weeks ago, and a 1-1 draw tonight, the Pamplona team went through on away goals.
“There’s no doubt, we were made to suffer,” he told a Press conference.
“We have to be clear about that.
“Players like Santa Cruz and Weligton are always going to cause you trouble because of their size, but we defended well.
“We did well in the first half, but not so much in the second half.
“However, overall, I think we did enough in the two games.”
