Dani Carvajal thought Sergio Ramos’ sending off was ‘harsh’ as Real Madrid drew 2-2 with Osasuna.
Los Blancos came from behind to claim a point in Pamplona on Saturday, but they had to do so without the defender, who was sent off in the first half.
“The team showed spirit and we drew a game that was almost lost,” he told reporters.
“I thought the sending off was harsh and unfair as it changed the game.
“Because we are Real Madrid and we are ambitious, the result is not enough. Especially because of how we started the game and the chances we had to make it 0-1.
“Then the harsh and unfair sending off of Ramos changed the game. It was obvious that the first yellow wasn’t even a foul. The referee made a mistake like we all make mistakes”.
