On from the player’s denial, reports in Spain look to confirm that Barcelona are not interested in signing Juan Cuadrado this January.
The Colombian winger’s form this term for Fiorentina has prompted transfer links in the Italian media with the likes of Barca and Real Madrid, as well as a number of other Italian sides.
However, the player has this weekend laughed off particular links to the Blaugrana, which has been reciprocated by Mundo Deportivo’s follow-up report.
The Catalan publication assert that Barca do not list Cuadrado as a priority nor a necessity to sign and that any consideration would only come if both Martin Montoya and Dani Alves were to leave.
The club are currently in continued negotiations with Montoya over a new deal, amid links away to a number of clubs, including Liverpool and Inter.
