Lucas Alcaraz has made clear that Granada will not be lacking in motivation for their Copa del Rey clash with Alcorcon.
The Andalucians will travel up to the capital this Sunday for the first leg of their Round of 32 clash with the Segunda Division outfit ready and willing, according to their Coach.
“We will not be lacking in motivation. This is a competition that I have always liked, because it has a different form and that makes it more exciting,” Alcaraz has told reporters this week.
“The name of the club must be represented in the most dignified and competitive form as possible.
“We head into this tie with the ambition of achieving good results, with the motivation to contest an official competition and the responsibility to know that this will be a tough game.
“The motivation for Alcorcon will not be any different to the motivation we may take to Vallecas [the following weekend].”
