Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has been shortlisted for the Welsh Sports Personality of the Year.
The Blanco winger has been named alongside Rugby Union’s Leigh Halfpenny, triathlete Non Stanford, cyclist Becky James and Paralympian Aled Sion Davies.
The winner of the award will be announced at a gala held in Cardiff on December 9.
Bale has hit the ground running since signing for the Santiago Bernabeu side in the summer, scoring his first Real Madrid hat-trick last weekend in a 4-0 win over Real Valladolid.
