Diego Alves has mused on Valencia’s desire to reverse their current situation and assured that they are always looking for ways to improve.
Los Che are stuck in mid-table in La Liga after a miserable opening half to the season, which has been compounded with recent disappointing results against Real Valladolid and Elche.
However, for the side’s Brazilian goalkeeper, the determination and approach to do something about it is there.
“After every game we are analyse our performances, after games we watch the videos,” Alves mused to reporters this week.
“We try to correct things as it is important to be self-critical. We have to train and work to improve and we know how we want to get out of this situation. Everyone wants to get out of this situation. Currently we have to try to take the positives and move ahead.
“Are we weak in defence? Everyone has their opinion. It is in the same way that we create attacking chances, so do the other teams.
“We do not have defensive weaknesses, we are not weak at the back.”
