Guillen: Defeat a huge blow

Miguel Guillen believed Real Betis learned received a ‘huge blow’ in the 4-0 derby defeat to Sevilla at the Sanchez Pizjuan.

The Real Betis President spoke to the Canal Plus microphones and expressed his dismay at a loss that sees his club rooted firmly to the foot of the La Liga table.

“Once more we have taken a huge blow. They got an early goal and we had a chance when Nono hit the post, but we didn’t have any luck,” lamented Guillen.

“We must now get ourselves back up. I don’t know if Paulao said something to the referee for his first yellow card but it set the tone for the whole match.

“The important thing was to have taken all three points, although Ruben Castro’s return to the squad is good news.

“We face Rayo next and must work to get something positive out of the next few games if we don’t want things to get really complicated.”
