Koke was anxious to point out that four of the team that won the U21 European Championships for Spain played on Saturday.
The Atletico Madrid man was joined by Marc Bartra, Alberto Moreno and Inigo Martinez for the 2-1 win over Equatorial Guinea last night.
"We have to point out that there were four Under 21 players who've played with the national team tonight” he told reporters.
The midfielder then commented on the next match against South Africa – returning to the stadium where La Roja won the World Cup in 2010.
“It's going to very special to return to South Africa and not only for those who were champions."
