Spain unveil all red kit

Spain have presented the kit they will wear in trying to defend the World Cup next summer in Brazil, opting for an all red design with gold detailing.

La Roja’s kit manufacturers hinted earlier in the week that Wednesday’s presentation would see a slight change in direction for the team’s kit.

The decision to drop the usual blue shorts has now been confirmed at an unveiling ceremony in Madrid by the current squad of players picked for this month’s games against Equatorial Guinea and South Africa.

The team will head out to Brazil next summer sporting an all red design, with detailing on the shoulders, the sides of the shorts and the top of the socks in gold.

The shirt, as the above image posted on Adidas’ official Twitter feed, also carries striped detailing in darker red.

The goalkeeper’s jersey is a light blue chest matched with mid-blue shoulders and shorts and light blue socks, all again detailed in gold.
