Sevilla defender Nicolas Pareja will miss the derby match against Real Betis in two weeks’ time, after picking up a knee strain.
The Argentine centre-back limped out of the Rojiblanco’s 3-1 win over Espanyol at the weekend, and the club have confirmed that tests show first degree medial ligament damage.
The injury will see the 29-year-old out for four weeks, meaning he will be out for the clash with bitter city rivals Betis.
