Malaga goalkeeper Willy Caballero claimed that ‘luck was on Granada’s side’, after they went down 3-1 on Friday.
Youssef El Arabi netted a hat-trick for El Grana last night as the Costa del Sol outfit went down to their Andalusian rivals.
“The first half was fairly even,” he told the club’s official website.
“But despite our equaliser in the second half, we suffered a lot after we conceded the second goal. We all make mistakes, but we’re a team.
“Luck was on Granada’s side tonight, and they made the most of it. We can’t allow ourselves to get complacent and let our guard down.
“We’ll take time to rectify our mistakes during the forthcoming League break.”
