Barcelona have reported that Adriano has suffered a hamstring injury, but with no damage to the muscle he is only a doubt to face Espanyol.
The Brazilian asked to be substituted during the first half of Barca’s 3-0 win at Celta Vigo on Tuesday evening, after indicating to the bench discomfort in the back of his left thigh.
After undergoing medical tests on Wednesday, Barca have confirmed that the player has injured the hamstring in his left leg, but that there is no damage to the muscle.
Determining his recovery period as ‘unclear’, the Catalans report that Adriano is only a doubt to make Friday’s derby with Espanyol.
