Bernd Schuster saw his Malaga side’s 0-0 draw with Espanyol this evening as ‘a positive’ after the weekend’s drubbing.
The Costa del Sol bounced back from Saturday’s 5-0 loss to Celta Vigo to claim a goalless draw with the Periquitos at Cornelia-El Prat.
“For my lads this was a real positive,” he told reporters. “This sort of reaction was the one we wanted.
“We got hit very hard at the weekend, but we came here, to a difficult ground, and got a great point.
“We’ve returned to what we had been doing earlier in the season – we’ve got our identity back.
“The players look comfortable, and I’m happy for that.”
