Paco Jemez has conceded that his Rayo Vallecano side face an ‘important’ clash with Osasuna on Wednesday.
The Franjirrojos have endured a tough start to the campaign, picking up just nine points in their first 10 games.
And the Coach has insisted that his men have to beat the Rojillos tomorrow.
“Last year we had one of our best performances against Osasuna,” he told a Press conference. “Even if we did lose.
“I’m going to demand a lot of intensity from my players, and if I can get that, then hopefully we’ll win.
“Osasuna will want to win by playing good football – they’re not going to change their style. But I think we all feel this is an opportunity for us.
“This is an important game for us, but I have faith that we can win.
“The result could go either way, but I want my lads to be brave, aggressive and show a determination to get the three points.”
