Busquets: Madrid should stop crying

Sergio Busquets has called for Real Madrid to stop ‘crying’ after they were beaten 2-1 in the Clasico on Saturday.

The Blaugrana beat their bitter rivals yesterday thanks to goals from Neymar and Alexis Sanchez.

But the midfielder has claimed that Carlo Ancelotti’s men should stop moaning after they were incensed when Javier Mascherano’s push on Cristiano Ronaldo, inside the penalty area, went unpunished.

"Madrid crying about the referee? They always look for excuses. They have no reason to complain, not today, not earlier this season," Busquets told reporters.

"The easy excuse is the referee. Same as always. They cannot complain at all this season about the officials. But if they will, they will."

Busquets concluded by praising Sanchez for his stunning late goal that eventually won the match.

"It was a wonderful goal by Alexis, it was beautifully crafted.”
