Unai Emery has insisted that the only thing his Sevilla side are after against Slovan Liberec is three points.
The Rojiblancos face the Slovenian side in the Europa League this week, and the Coach has claimed that his men want a win, despite not getting a victory away from home in more than a calendar year.
“Our only goal is to win and get first place in the League,” he told a Press conference.
“We have respect for Slovan, especially after they drew with Freiburg. They have a definite game plan and we have to be at our best to win.
“It is true that we are just getting used to playing in two competitions, but I think my team are getting closer to the sort of level we want.
“The more games we play, the more our ideas will become more prominent – but on an individual level we are full of quality.
“My greatest satisfaction is seeing my boys take a step forward, but after last Sunday [a 2-2 draw with Real Valladolid] it’s hard not to be disappointed.
“We will keep working though. I know there a lot of people who want to see Sevilla do well and win, and when you don’t, then you’re exposed to some criticism.
“I have been a Coach for a long time however, and will try to get the best out of the boys.”
