Martin Montoya has conceded his delight at starting for Barcelona last night, but not with the result at El Sadar.
The Blaugrana could only draw 0-0 with Osasuna to end their 100 per cent start to the season.
And the defender was disappointed with the draw, but pleased with a starting place ahead of the rested Dani Alves.
“We tried to win from the first minute, but in the end it wasn’t meant to be,” he told the club’s official website.
“This is a difficult stadium to play in.
“I’m pleased for the chance I was given.
“I’m aware that I’m playing for a big team and that I compete with Alves, who’s a beast, but I have to take advantage of my chances.”
