Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez was ‘very satisfied’ with his men after they defeated Almeria 1-0.
A second half goal from Alex Galvez was enough to give the Franjirrojos all three points in a bottom-of-the-table clash.
“We can look to the future with optimism,” he told a Press conference. “We were solely lacking in wins.
“But after two straight wins it’s time for our season to take off.
“It was a very open game – one in which both teams had the opportunity to score.
“But I thought we looked like the most likely to win, and I’m very satisfied with the three points.”
