Jagoba Arrasate believes that his Real Sociedad side’s 2-1 victory against Valencia was down to their superior finishing.
Antoine Griezmann and Ruben Pardo gave La Real all three points at Mestalla, and the Coach has admitted that it was thanks to their coolness in front of goal.
“We won at a difficult place to come,” he told a Press conference. “But I thought we played well and with authority.
“This win gives us confidence and is hopefully the beginning of a good streak for us.
“It was a shame to have conceded a goal right at the end, but I thought we defended well for virtually the entire game.
“Valencia are a great team but I thought we grew into the game and took our chances well.”
Arrasate concluded by commenting on Wednesday’s Champions League match with Manchester United.
“The most important thing was the win today, but we all know that the next match is going to be a historic one for the club.”
