Seven changes for Spain?

Vicente del Bosque is speculated as going to make as many as seven changes to his Spain line-up to face Georgia this evening.

La Roja close out their 2014 World Cup qualification campaign in Albacete against the Georgians, needing just a point to assure top spot in Group I and automatic advancement to next summer’s finals.

On from a hard fought 2-1 win over Belarus on Friday night, Del Bosque is expected to ring the changes, as indicated through recent training.

Work during Thursday evening’s session in Albacete had a provisional XI with Iker Casillas back between the posts, full-backs Juanfran Torres and Alberto Moreno given a run-out and Sergio Busquets opted to play alongside Sergio Ramos in defence.

Midfield is once more a three, with Mario Suarez potentially lining up alongside Xavi Hernandez and Albacete native Andres Iniesta, whilst Alvaro Negredo would lead an attack flanked by Pedro Rodriguez and Jesus Navas.
