Jesus Navas believes that Spain were worthy winners as they put Georgia to the sword on Tuesday evening.
La Roja beat Temuri Ketsbaia’s men 2-0 to book their place at next summer’s World Cup. And the midfielder has insisted that his team were worth the three points.
“Georgia were a complicated opponent,” he told reporters. “But we remained calm and I think we deserved the win.
“We came out with a very good attitude. We knew it was important to get to the World Cup.”
