‘I’ll stay if the Federation want me’

Vicente Del Bosque has admitted that he will renew his contract with the Spanish Federation as long as they still want him.

La Roja qualified for the World Cup this evening after beating Georgia 2-0 in Alabcete, and the Coach has conceded that he will stay with Spain after the tournament in Brazil.

“I will renew as long as the Federation want me,” he told reporters. “It will be time to discuss the matter soon.

“It was very important we won tonight and I am pleased that we did exactly that. We have to be happy.

“Georgia were hard opponents, but so were Finland and France. I think we accomplished all of the goals we set ourselves at the start of this qualification.”
