Barcelona have been dealt a blow with the news that full-back Jordi Alba has been ruled out for a further six weeks having suffered a second injury.
The 24-year-old was in the final stages of recovering from a thigh strain picked up in his right leg that had kept him out of action for the past month.
However, Barca have reported today that Alba has picked up another injury in training on Thursday.
Tests carried out have confirmed that he has suffered an injury to the thigh muscle of his left leg, with the club listing his new estimated recovery period as six weeks.
