Bernd Schuster thought his Malaga side deserved at least a draw against Osasuna on Friday night.
The Boquerones lost 1-0 to the Rojillos yesterday evening, but the German Coach believed his players’ efforts were worthy of a point.
“For the effort we put in,” he told a Press conference. “We missed the draw that I think we deserved.
“In the first half Osasuna did well, but we were poor in defence. We left plenty of space for them at the back.
“But during the second half we tried with all our might to get a point. It just wasn’t to be though.”
