Sandro Rosell has encouraged Barcelona’s youth players at La Masia to ‘continue to work’ and ‘remain humble’ so as to reach the senior side.
The club President visited La Blaugrana’s youth academy set-up this week and reflected on what he believes the aspiring professionals need so as to make the grade with the senior squad.
“Thank you for representing our club and for doing it so well,” delivered Rosell to the youngsters this week.
“You must be humble, well mannered. You must continue your work and effort, always from the basis of humility.
“Currently, 17 of the 25 players in the first team have been here. This is a record in the history of our club. This is the first year that we have had so many people in the first team. It is a world record.”
