Real Sociedad midfielder Xabi Prieto will be out for the next two to three weeks with a thigh strain.
The 30-year-old was subbed off in La Real’s 4-1 loss to Barcelona on Tuesday evening, and the club have confirmed this afternoon that tests have shown a tear in the captain’s right thigh.
It means he will definitely miss the match against Sevilla this weekend, the Champions League tie with Bayer Leverkusen and next weekend’s clash with Ray Vallecano.
