Sevilla boss Unai Emery was pleased with his players after they defeated Rayo Vallecano on Wednesday evening.
The Rojiblancos beat the Franjirrojos tonight 4-1 to claim their first win of the campaign – something of a relief to the Coach.
“We did really well,” he told a Press conference. “We have reason to be optimistic. We have won well.
“Rayo are an aggressive team who work the ball well, but we pressured them and took our chances.
“We needed a win and this victory is definitely a relief. We needed the points.
“I’m thankful to the fans who have stuck by us during what has been a tough time.”
