Chico Flores believes that Swansea may have an advantage through their Spanish contingent when facing Valencia tonight.
The Premier League outfit are preparing for this evening’s Europa League group stage opener at Mestalla, with eight Spaniards in their squad.
“Myself and all the Spanish players at Swansea are very happy to be playing here again in Spain,” commented Chico in the pre-match conference.
“It can help that we have played here at the Mestalla before – I can tell my team-mates what to expect.
“The fans make a lot of noise here and it will be a difficult match, although I don’t think I’ve lost here yet.
“Valencia are one of the biggest clubs in Spain, but we are hoping to get a positive result.”
