‘Missing out on a point hurts’

Unai Emery has admitted that he was ‘hurting’ after Sevilla’s 3-2 loss to Barcelona on Saturday evening.

The Rojiblancos fought back to 2-2 before having a goal disallowed from Ivan Rakitic, despite there being no obvious foul.

Alexis Sanchez then scored a late winner for the home side – something the Andalucian side’s Coach was upset with.

“Missing out on that point hurts,” he told a Press conference. “Who knows what would have happened if it wasn’t for the officials.

“We played a great game though and I think we deserved more from it.

“Given the effort we have put in, and what we’ve seen on the pitch, we definitely deserved something.

“We scored in the 90th minute, which seems like the best time to score against Barca. But that’s football.”
