Lucas Alcaraz has blamed the referee after his Granada side lost 1-0 to Espanyol on Sunday.
Manu Lanzarote scored the only goal of the game late in the second half to condemn El Grana to their second defeat of the season.
But the Coach was clear that Iglesias Vilanueva was to blame after he wrongly awarded Espanyol a free-kick inside the Granada for a controversial backpass.
“It is difficult to understand how the referee can make such an error,” he told a Press conference.
“It’s hard to take.
“Espanyol are a good team who fight a lot when they don’t have the ball.
“But we were fluid in the centre of the park, and tried to pay some good football.”
