Diego Simeone was very pleased with his Atletico Madrid side as they defeated Almeria 4-2.
Goals from David Villa, Koke, Tiago and Diego Costa gave the capital club all three points against the newly-promoted side.
“These sort of games are always very dangerous,” he told a Press conference. “The opponent is theoretically much lower than us.
“But during the important parts of the game we were stronger than them.
“The players knew how to interpret the game. When we needed to kill off the game, we did exactly that.
"I was very pleased."
