Tunez to leave Celta, if…

Andres Tunez could find a way out of Celta Vigo this month, if the club agree to part-finance a loan move to Israel.

The transfer market in Israel has another five days to go and Beitar are in line to pick up the Venezuelan international, who has fallen out of favour at Balaidos under new Coach Luis Enrique.

However, as Tunez’s agent has revealed, the move can only go through with a bit of assistance from Celta.

“We have been talking for a few days and the agreement between the player and Beitar is complete,” representative Rodrigo Fernandez has told Efe today.

“Now we just lack Celta giving their approval to the operation.

“In Israel they cannot cover the entire salary, so it all depends on Celta. After the experience and ultimate failure in moving to Real Zaragoza, I think that this time we are all willing to reach an agreement.

“Andres is willing to go to Israel and Celta must be willing to pay a small part of his wage.

“The transfer market in Israel closes on the 17th, so for this operation there needs to be something concrete soon.

“Right now, negotiations are advanced and nearly closed, but they will not go forward.”
