Koke Resurreccion has reflected on his opportunity with Spain this week and on the difficulties the team faced against Chile.
The Atletico Madrid man featured for La Roja in Friday’s World Cup qualifier against Finland and came off the bench in Tuesday evening’s draw with Chile.
“We are proud to play minutes with this team, so we have to enjoy it and with these teammates,” mused Koke yesterday evening.
“And I am looking to make good use of the minutes that I have.”
Spain laboured to a late 2-2 result against the South Americans in Geneva.
“We knew they were a tough opponent and we have equalised only in the final minute.
“Every game and every opponent is out to their death against Spain.
“We are the world champions and every team wants to beat us.”
